A joint canon, both drawn and mainly written by Cat with contributions from Jinji himself, “Two Shades of Green” is mostly a collection of individual comics, comic strips and one-off artworks starring Cat’s own Australian-accented, wild, mischief-making Gengar called Aadvay, alongside Jinji himself. The key storyline in this Canon is the currently ongoing Doppelganger, which details how the two came to meet and become friends in the first place; but we’ve since gone on to have many other fun times!

A St. Patrick’s Day gift from Cat (https://www.deviantart.com/silverbettaCCT), who then worked with me on dialogue and posing etc, resulting in a brand-new adventure between Jinji and Aadvay!

As someone who absolutely loves green, St. Patrick’s Day is Aadvay’s favourite holiday and the one time of the year he truly gets to enjoy making a huge mess! Knowing how Jinji loves green and mess too, Aadvay goes to meet up with him, believing that Jinji will have planned something great for the holiday. Unfortunately, it turns out Jinji has completely forgotten! Aadvay considers this unacceptable, and Jinji is soon apologizing profusely, promising to make it up to him. Suddenly, however, Aadvay gets a devious idea…

A collaboration between myself and the Deviant Artist, Cat (https://www.deviantart.com/silverbettaCCT), based on a role-play we performed with one another. It serves mainly as an introduction and character building for Cat’s new Gengar OC, Aadvay, but is also a reflection of our newfound friendship with each other, as told through our characters.
