Character Profile: Gaspar

Appearance not final.

The soul of a middle-aged human originally named Jasper, who once explored mountains before being killed in an avalanche. Now resurrected as a Gastly, Gaspar is one of the youngest Ghosts currently in the care of Jinji; and is still getting to grips with his new form. As a result, he is full of curiosity and regularly asking Jinji questions about what it is to be a Ghost, and the things Gastly are capable of. Such is Gaspar’s thirst for understanding, he often asks about topics most of the other Ghosts never think about, leading Jinji to tell lengthy tales or engage in long dialogues as he imparts his knowledge upon Gaspar and, on occasion, all the other Ghosts in his mansion.

Beliefs and Superstitions

Being a relative newcomer to the Ghost way of life, Gaspar is still uncertain about what exactly is or isn’t real when it comes to paranormal activities and magical abilities; and this often makes him scared and quite timid. He is still not fully used to Jinji’s obsession with explosives and has more than once been fooled into thinking one or more of the Ghosts has been placed into danger. He also doesn’t know whether or not common human superstitions, such as the number 13 and black cats, are actually true; and he takes an open mind to beliefs and rumours as he is never quite sure what to make of them.
