Another day in Eterna Forest... (Jinji pops out from behind a bush and scares a bunch of basic Pokémon, then laughs at their fright) "This forest is absolutely huge! There are so many good vantage points to pop out for a scare!"

And so, Enigma the Spiritomb became a fixture of Jinji's mansion. After many months, many more tricks and games, and a few good laughs with the other Ghosts, Enigma proved himself a trustworthy and fun spirit to have around; and would eventually be invited to the Jinji family as a permanent member. (A picture of all the Ghosts together. Jinji is to the left of Enigma, both of whom are smiling and laughing. Alessandro the Rotom is directly opposite Enigma's right and has a joyful smile. Further right is Gaspar the Gastly, who has an uncertain frown; above Gaspar floats Phantisserie the Haunter, who has one hand to her face, as if pondering the situation. Jinji introduces the other Ghosts to the Spiritomb, referring to him as "Enigma, the trickster". As the other Ghosts look at him suspiciously, Enigma proceeds to tell everyone his backstory. Jinji admits he doesn't know if Enigma is telling the truth, but he has taken a liking to Enigma and is curious about him; and he believes in looking out for Ghosts who don't intend to cause any harm. He decides to invite Enigma to stay with him at the mansion, so they can all get to know him better - which Enigma graciously accepts. Phantisserie, Alessandro and Gaspar rush through the now opened door with concerned looks on their faces. They gather a short distance away from Jinji, who smiles at their presence. The Spiritomb is beside Jinji. "You were missing for so long!" "What's happened? Who's that!?" Jinji grins as he holds up both hands in a "hold up" pose. "Calm down everyone. I'm fine. Hear me out..." "We were pretty busy with some 'things' here. But it's all over now."

The Spiritomb explains to Jinji that everything up to this point had been nothing more than a prank he'd set up simply to toy with him. The machine's true intention was not to free him from the stone, but instead to lure Jinji into a trap. After the time expired, the Spiritomb faked an explosion using a bright flash and noise so Jinji wouldn't notice he was being teleported into the box, which is now filled with a sticky purple slime. The Spiritomb then compliments Jinji on his skills, admitting that Jinji would likely have bested him, had he not created so many distractions. Jinji smiles proudly, enjoying the compliment, and replies that he is quite skilled with both puzzles and explosives. A few hours later, a happy Jinji is released from the box. Jinji admits he actually found the whole prank fun, and wonders how the Spiritomb knew he loves slime. They return to the mansion and the Spiritomb dispels his earlier lock spell, causing the chains around the walls to glow and disappear.

(A white triangular box is visible, surrounded by a white mist) A while later, the bright flash fades... and Jinji finds himself in a whole new location. "Geh, this isn't the mansion!" (Jinji is now visible inside the box. He appears to be pushing against one of the walls. Purple slime covers his lower body to a little below his mouth. Laughter can be heard around the outside of the box) "Wait a minute! I'm trapped in a box!" (Spiritomb floats up beside the box, speaking to Jinji from outside. His laughter has turned from malicious to a more joyful tone) "I can't believe how easy it was to prank you!" "..Prank?"

Spiritomb: "Hahaha! Foolish Gengar! You thought you could match my wits; but you fell miserably short! Now, the hour is at hand! Watch, as I unleash chaos upon your realm!" Jinji recoils in horror as the machine emits a bright flash, blinding him. A beat panel follows, with the text "Many minutes later..."

(A side of the box has been opened, revealing a mass of cogs and wires) "Ack! I can't reach the wires to the sensors without getting directly in their sight!" "Hmmm... these cogs will only lift in a particular order. I might be able to work it out before putting my hands inside..." (Jinji celebrates as another side of the box opens up, revealing the Odd Keystone) "Eureka! I'm a genius!" "Oh! There's the stone!" (Jinji picks up the box and appears to be struggling) "...Geh! It's stuck! Don't tell me there's still another puzzle to solve!" (The Spiritomb-style clock strikes 12) "No! I'm out of time!"

(The cube-shaped box is now open. Jinji lifts a new, triangular-based pyramid-shaped box from inside) "GAAAAAH! Yet another box with another layer of puzzles!" (As Jinji holds the box, he notices the Spiritomb-style clock suddenly and rapidly tick from 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock. His face takes on an angry expression as he suddenly realizes what's happening) "GEGEH! There's motion sensors all over this box!" (The Spiritomb appears behind Jinji) "And every time you set one off, the timer will speed up! You better watch your next moves carefully... Mwa ha ha!"

(Jinji repeatedly taps the buttons) "Geh? Something's not right here..." "I'm pressing the buttons, but NOTHING'S happening!" "Gah! These keys are faulty - they barely respond at all!" Spiritomb: "Oops, I guess I must have fitted some *faulty electronics* onto my machine... heh heh..." Jinji: "...And now THIS button is over-sensitive! This keypad is totally busted! I'll need to be creative to get the right code entered in..." Many minutes of struggling later... (Jinji holds a key to a newly-revealed keyhole) "Hopefully this is the keyhole to finally open this machine..." (The machine suddenly sprays a foul sludge directly at Jinji) "WRONG! Enjoy my little booby-trap! Shehehe..." (Jinji cleans himself off) "GAH! What a dirty trick! Let's try this one instead..." (The machine clicks open)

As Jinji removes the third of the five dynamite sticks from the machine, he accidentally hits the wick against a hot wire, causing it to light. He prises it from the machine just in time to avoid setting off a chain reaction; and it explodes on his face, covering him with soot. Spiritomb: "Ha ha ha! Clumsy Gengar... You need to be more careful!" After taking a moment to clean off the soot... (Jinji moves to a different side of the machine, where a digital keypad and display are fitted) "Yet another combination lock? Heh. Finally, an easy puzzle after those last few tricks..."

(Jinji stands in front of the new machine, and is looking over one side. Above the machine, the Spiritomb-style clock points to 3 o'clock.) "Hmmm, these buttons seem to be on some sort of timer..." (A close-up of the machine. A row of coloured buttons lie below a large metal panel. Most of the buttons are red, but one is yellow. A random button in the row then blinks green. Jinji points to the green button.) "They keep flashing, but there doesn't seem to be a pattern... I guess I need to press the buttons at precisely the right times..." (Suddenly, the Spiritomb pops out in front of Jinji once again) "You're being far too slow, puny Gengar!" (Jinji recoils backwards) "Gah! You again!" Many minutes later... "I missed so many button presses because of him! Let's see what's next..." (The metal panel from earlier has opened up, revealing a row of dynamite sticks; above which, various exposed wires are criss-crossed randomly. The wires are hot from the electricity passing through them, causing them to glow brightly.) "Sticks of dynamite? Surrounded by hot wires?!?" (Nervous lines appear on Jinji's face as he reaches forward) "Gah! He's determined to get this thing to explode by any means necessary! Gotta be careful now!"

"Whew! That was a fun mental workout! But I've opened all the locks in record time! That evil Ghost isn't getting released on my watch!" (Jinji wipes sweat off his forehead as the machine splits apart with a "poof" sound. The shell of the machine disappears, and in its place, a new machine reveals itself, this time cube-shaped, and adorned with a different set of puzzles and panels) "GAH! Another machine inside this machine?" "You've got to be kidding!"

(Jinji stands in front of the machine) "So it seems I just have to undo a series of locks to defuse this device... too easy!" (The Spiritomb reappears directly in front of Jinji. Its ghostly visage obscures Jinji's view of a keypad on this side of the machine) "Such a naïve Gengar, underestimating my puzzles!" "Gah! Are you going to keep getting in my face ALL the time?!" After a while… "That was annoying, but at least I got the code. Now to cut these wires…" (A panel clanks open, and a large quantity of keys fall out. Jinji picks up one of the keys and looks at it thoughtfully) "Hmmmm, there are many more keys than locks on this box. I guess I need to figure out which of these are decoys..." (Various clicking noises are heard as Jinji tries various keys) "Eureka!"

Mysterious voice: "…Unless, of course, you wish to cement your foolishness. My machine is made up of several layers, upon each of which are many puzzles. My stone lies hidden in the very heart, but I guarantee you won't reach it in time!" (Jinji stands in a defiant pose) "I will not let my realm be overcome by evil! I accept your challenge!" (Jinji stares at the Spiritomb-like timer) "…What is this thing anyway? A clock?" (Suddenly, the Spiritomb pops out directly in front of Jinji, catching him by surprise)

(Magical chains appear to cover the walls of the room) "Let's make sure no-one else interferes... LOCK SPELL!" (A clock appears above the machine. The design of the clock is similar to a Spiritomb without its eyes and mouth. A jagged green hand points to 12 o'clock) "Soon, my machine will detonate with enough power to destroy the stone and release me from my eternal binding." "Then, I will be released, free to wreak chaos once again!" "And it's all thanks to you. The strong ghostly energies of this mansion provided me with all the power I needed!"

(Jinji wanders through the hallways of his mansion, looking down in confusion.) "This makes no sense... I've searched almost everywhere! How can it just disappear?" (Jinji enters another room of the mansion, and is suddenly greeted by a mysterious voice) "Well well... I wondered when you'd finally get here...!" "Geh?! Who goes there?!?" (Jinji finds himself face-to-face with a giant, regular dodecahedron-shaped machine. Various panels and puzzles adorn each side.) "What is this machine!?" Mysterious voice: "For years, I have been imprisoned in that keystone... my powers constrained. But soon, I shall finally be free!" Jinji: "Gah! So the stone contained a spirit?!"

(Jinji returns home after his night of fun.) "Gahaha! Another successful night of hauntings! Now, what should I get up to next?" "Oh yes! I almost forgot! I should take a look into that stone!" (Jinji enters his room, but there is nothing to be found on the floor.) "What?!? It's not here! But I sent it directly to my room!" (Jinji visits the other Ghosts around the mansion and asks each of them if they've been in his room and moved anything, which they all deny. None of them appear to have any knowledge of the stone Jinji sent over.)

The odd keystone lands with a thud on the floor of Jinji's room. Suddenly, a Spiritomb pops out. "What is this place? There's so much ghostly energy! I feel so energised!" "That naive little ghost, throwing me aside in pursuit of fun! Well, I think it's time I had some fun as well!" (Title logo)

(Jinji comes across an Odd Keystone in the middle of the forest) "Geh? What's this?" "Hmm... this stone seems to be radiating some sort of odd power. I wonder what it's doing here?" "No time to investigate now! I'll send it over to my room so I can research it later! Keh!" (Jinji returns to floating through the forest) "Gehehe! You better watch out, the Master of Spooks is coming for you!"
