Fourth page of "The Sugar Rush!", and the action is about to begin!

As they come to rest in front of the large bottle, Phantisserie sets Jinji the challenge. The glass carboy's neck is sealed tight thanks to a large stick of dynamite wedged through it. The dynamite's fuse is carefully calibrated to burn for roughly 5 minutes (this part isn't mentioned in the final comic strip, but was part of the original plan Jinji discussed with Kumada Panda when this comic was being designed) before the dynamite is set off, destroying the jar and any sweets still inside. Jinji's task is to retrieve as much of the sugary contents as he can before it blows, but he is not allowed to damage the jar in any way.

"Too easy!", says Jinji as he eagerly accepts the challenge. As he gets pumped up and ready to dash, Phantisserie brings out one of the many Litwick that reside in the mansion, and gives it the honour of setting the fuse alight, putting the challenge in motion.

While the existence of Litwick and Chandelure as forms of lighting (alongside ordinary candles and torches) in Jinji's mansion has been referenced before, this comic page is notable for being the first time a Litwick has made an appearance in a comic strip. This was actually a deliberate decision by Kumada Panda, who recognised the opportunity to utilise it as part of the challenge and took advantage - something Jinji was pleasantly surprised to see! And in case you were wondering, "Souhaitez-vous faire les honneurs?" is French for "Would you like to do the honours?" - Jinji felt the meaning was obvious enough (or could be easily inferred from the context of the story) that there was no need to include the translation in the comic as a footnote.
