Owing to a recent discovery of an archive of some older works of mine, and a review of content from my DeviantArt page, I’m pleased to announce the addition to the Jinji the Gengar website of three classic works. First off, we have one of my first ever Jinji stories, “The Storm From Nowhere“. This […]
After reading a book on “Diseases of the Human Body” and learning about the common cold, Jinji decides he wants to learn just how easily snot spreads and about its infectious potential. Being a Gengar, however, Jinji has no experience of a cold to draw on to ensure an accurate experiment. Suddenly, he remembers his old idol, and realises that the self-proclaimed Master of Mucus would be the perfect companion to help him ensure an accurate experiment. Thus begins Jinji’s snottiest plot yet…
The Jinji the Gengar website has, as of 17th February 2022, seen a reorganisation of its overall navigation and a rearrangement of some of the stories and comics throughout the site, in order to split the Jinji universe into three distinct canons reflecting the three different directions Jinji and his cast are currently portrayed. All […]
For a number of years now, Jinji’s appearance has remained remarkably consistent in all his appearances in artwork and stories produced both by and for Jinji. Jinji is always a Generation 3-style male Gengar, and even appearances in other forms such as Mega Evolution have been few and far between. But what if that wasn’t […]
Portal Day has come once again, and Jinji and his friends have been getting into the spirit (pun intended 😛) of merriment, celebrating Jinji’s special, once-in-a-year moment in their own special ways. With it comes two brand new Birthday-themed works!
For those looking for a true Birthday blast, check out the Side Stories where you’ll find a brand new comic, “The Sugar Rush!“. Another comic collaboration designed by Kumada Panda based on ideas from Jinji, this hilarious new comic sees Jinji challenged by Phantisserie to collect candy for his Birthday – with an explosive twist!
Or maybe you prefer to see Jinji getting gooey instead? We got you covered. One year to the day of the Ghostly Celebration, Kitty the Gengar Queen has returned the favour with her own hand-drawn artwork. Jinji is presented with a cake by Kitty, only to be caught unawares as Gargantua and the kids start pouring a huge quantity of slime right above them!
Jinji gives thanks […]
A new comic story designed by Kumada Panda based on ideas by Jinji, to celebrate Jinji’s 2022 Birthday. With the assistance of Ghost, Jinji’s friends and family surprise him with a huge jar of sweets… but he’ll need to be quick if he wants to keep them all as Phantisserie sets him a rather explosive […]
A crossover spin-off comic created as another collaboration between Jinji and Kumada Panda, which ironically turned into the longest comic strip ever written by the pair – at 15 pages long – despite having originated as one of Jinji’s simplest ideas. Having been a fan of the Neopets villain Meuka for years, Jinji is surprised […]
The “Miscellaneous Art” page has been updated to add a whole bunch of artworks designed by one of my close friends, KittyTheGengarQueen, over the past year. In addition, there is now a dedicated section for artworks that feature gifts or celebrations as their theme, since a significant number of recently-added artworks feature this theme. There […]
Another collaboration storyboarded by Jinji and drawn by Kumada Panda/xxlPanda. Jinji asks his fellow Ghosts for privacy as he sets about on another study session; but when he doesn’t emerge from his room over 24 hours later, the Ghosts become concerned and decide to check up on him. Little do they know they are about to become key players in Jinji’s slimiest prank yet!
Following on from my recent announcement about changes to my official character profiles in order to improve navigation and add information about each character’s first appearances, each character’s profile has now been further fleshed out, with Jinji, Phantisserie and Gaspar all now having a new section describing their beliefs and superstitions; and Alessandro a new […]
