Since NShims designed the animated signatures for Part 3 of this story in a comic book style, it was easy to convert them into static comic strips, to allow the whole strips to be viewed as a single, low-bandwidth image. The below are all three pages of Chapter 1. Note that some of the effects visible in the animated version have been stripped from this static version, as they cannot be easily applied to a static image.
