Another year has passed, and in the Spirit Realm, "Portal Day" - the anniversary of Jinji's first crossing over into the mortal realm - is about to arrive again. To Jinji and his fellow Ghosts, this day is as important to them as a human would celebrate a Birthday; and always involves a major celebration and/or some sort of large-scale mischief.

This year, every one of Jinji's ghostly friends and family have sneaked into the very basement of Jinji's mansion, where Ghost has come up with an elaborate surprise. The Ghosts all like his idea, but express doubt whether it's something they can actually achieve, especially given they won't have much time if they're to keep it a secret from Jinji. Luckily, Ghost thinks he knows the exact person to help!
